200px-labyrinth_movie.jpgI remember being quite scared of David Bowie’s Nether regions the first time I saw the Labyrinth. It was quite traumatic as a seven year old to see that!! Other than old Dave’s dodgy mullet and Codpiece, this film is a work of genius!!! The film can be bought on Amazon.co.uk. Also available is The Labyrinth Soundtrack and the Poster.

l_worm.jpgSarah is the lead character in this fantastic film. (Played by Jennifer Connolly who is now a serious ac-tor!) She plays a young gir, her life is fuelled by fantasy and roleplay…She is tired of her young step brothers whinings she secretly wishes for the goblin king to take her brother (cue David Bowie in a very scary wig!) The film revolves around sarah searching through the Labyrinth and meeting may colourful characters along the way. She firstly Meets Huggle who is a revolting little goblin who likes to wee in ornamental ponds! She is also aided by Ludo who is a large beast, desprately in need of a jar of Veet!

The coolest little character is a feisty Yorkshire terrier called Sir Didymus, who is very faithful to his post as the bridge keeper in the pit of eternal stench. He hepls sarah a great deal. The Little worm is the cutest character in the film, this worm confuses sarah by sending her in the wrong direction and famously saying “If she had gone that way she would have gone straight to that castle!!” (In a cockney Accent!!!)  One of my favourite bits is the Red Fire monsters that look like fraggles, They try and take off her head and do a lot of scary dancing with crotch wobbling!  The Music in this film is beyond genius. David Bowie’s songs are all fantastic including the one where he chucks a baby around!

labyrinth_sarah-jr-t.jpgI have found this T shirt that I simply have to own. It is by Truffle shuffle and is so pretty click here to get this baby!

SupergirlI was 7 when I first watched the 1984 classic Supergirl. She became a hero to many girls in what was a male dominated superhero genre. Supergirl was played by the very pretty Helen Slater. Girls loved he film due to the fact that she was a good role model..pus she looked so cool in all that lycra. Men liked her because she was top totty! The film has just been released at long last and it is here for your viewing pleasure!

SupergirleSuper girl’s main aim in life is to search for an orb of immense power that has travelled to Earth, and there instantly acquires super abilities. Standing in her way is an evil and powerful sorceress, who has captured the orb in order to supercharge her black magic. Selena who looks like a ginger Alanis Morissette having a bad hair day…has one mission and that is world domination!! (and seducing men!) She also has a nice collection of S and M Gear! Those swinging ball cages would go down a storm in Ann Summers!

product.jpgThis film has given many young girls an excuse to dress in lycra on their hen nights (the skirt is quite flattering on the old Azz) I have found a fab shop called Angels Fancy dress that sells this fab costume if you want to wear it out on the tiles. Or you can just buy it and lie across your Nan’s Stannah Stairlift and pretend you can fly! (Whatever floats your boat!) If you want to buy this amazing lycra extravaganza click here.

ladies_night-t-shirt.jpgI have also found a rather gorgeous T shirt on Truffle shuffle that stars supergirl and her homegirls!
